To ask for your best slime recipes?

My friend has been trying to make slime with his daughter, without much success!

Does anybody have any tried and tested recipes please?

My tried and tested method to making slime is to not do it at all ever because it's a monumental pain in the arse, messy and the kids get bored halfway through leaving me doing it on my own when it most certainly was not my idea in the first place.

Failing that, if the darlings are being particularly persistent, I just order the Elmer's glue kit off Amazon as they can do it by themselves and leaves me free to do other things like not making slime
