Inappropriate dream about teacher

I'm normally so sensible but I suddenly have a very unhealthy crush on DD's teacher. I'm getting excited to watch his (year 1 maths and phonics...Hmm) videos. He sometimes comments on DD's work late at night which must be having some effect as I had an inappropriate but very enjoyable dream about him last night Blush
AIBU to think the stress of lockdown has finally broken me? Please don't let me be the only one regressing to teenage crushes!
btw

I fancied my sons teacher, I think he knew as well unfortunately. He was his teacher for 2 years I was quite relieved when he wasn’t anymore as it was very awkward 😬

He does keep writing "well done mummy" in the comments. Surely that's encouragement Wink

I made a really obvious awkward mistake, when it came to finding out which teachers your child gets the next year he handed my son a piece of paper and said “go on show your mum whose your new teacher is” I opened it and it had his name on, the smile on my face gave it all away, I couldn’t contain it 😳🤣

HomeLearningShame · 27/01/2021 13:07

Grin that's a give away he def knows.
The only saving grace is DD's teacher holds his pen like a toddler holds a crayon but that is literally the only negative I can think of ... luckily for DH Wink

Grin Pandemic problems.

Nothing wrong with an inappropriate crush! Now I'm kind of wishing one of my DC had a cute teacher I could have a crush on might pass the time!

Busted! Grin

No, it's DD's teacher, not mine!

Can the staff tell from Google classroom who has accessed the videos & when? Asking for a friend Blush

I'm not even sure he's actually cute. Surely I would have noticed before? Tall, young (I could possibly be his mum Blush), deep voice, dark curly hair, good with kids obvs Wink Quite cheeky but professional. Actually sounds lovely now I've written it out ...

Oh dear! If he's young enough to be your son I think you might need a cold shower 😂

He calls you “ mummy”?
LockdownTeacherCrush · 27/01/2021 15:31

You are definitely not alone!!

During the first lockdown DD1’s year had a male teacher. (I think during normal times I wouldn’t have given him a second thought - in fact I think during the previous summer I had seen him wear shorts with socks and sandals, bleurgh!!) But there was something about his teaching videos from home with his own kids around that set my hormones raging! I confess to being a little giddy when a new video appeared and it was from him Blush

@Janegrey333 not really... like this:

Well done miniHome! And well done mummy :)

I guess to avoid potentially wrong surname for some kids & parents where they don't match.

Yes exactly like this, without the sandals! Videos done in school so not even his own kids around. Don't think he has any. Just the kw & v kids.

Glad it’s not just me with my crush, honestly you are just lucky schools aren’t open, when they were and it was sports day watching him running around I was practically having to fan myself down, he most definitely is hot though, not just because of lock down 🤣

Washimal · 27/01/2021 15:48

Over the last few months I've started having all sorts of inappropriate thoughts and vivid dreams about male acquaintances...colleagues, neighbours, people I haven't seen for years. The other night I had a particularly graphic dream about my first boyfriend who I haven't seen since I was 17! Turns out I'm peri-menopausal and it's quite a common symptom apparently.

LockdownTeacherCrush · 27/01/2021 15:51

Ooh, sports day GrinGrin Although if the socks and sandals made a comeback that might have helped cure me Smile

BeaTea · 27/01/2021 15:53

Your husband doesn't need to know. Keep it professional OP.

spidermomma · 27/01/2021 15:54

Haha love it. We all need something to keep us going !!

IEat · 27/01/2021 15:56

I don’t just have a crush on someone I shouldn’t I am full blown in love with them. OMFG they are beautiful, humour is the same as mine. Whilst we text and chat and take the piss out of each other they are very much with their partner and child. But wow when we row, which we do, I dream about the making up if we were together! .
They know I really like them, told them, they really like me but that’s all it is. It passes the time and will eventually fade into nothing. It for now HELLO

Givemeabreak88 · 27/01/2021 16:01

LockdownTeacherCrush
sports day definitely got to me Blush it was such a hot day and he was running around all hot and sweaty then he started drinking some water and I imagined him pouring it down himself lol He was in a pair of shorts as well but luckily no sandals!

Was so looking forward to the next sports day then Covid happened Angry I’ve clearly been single too long!
