Climate Change Anxiety

Hello,

Wasn't sure where to post this. Does anyone else get climate anxiety?

I know covid is more front of mind at the moment. But I'm struck with horrible moments of panic that not enough is being done to reduce emissions, waste etc. etc.

I try to switch off but I can't. We radically need to change our behaviour / be made to be to change our behaviour, but it feels like nothing is happening - no collective panic has set in, not properly for the required change.

Sorry just feeling a bit hopeless!

Yes, and it probably is hopeless. Pretty sure the point of no return was passed a while ago. I can't think about it anymore and just do what I can personally (insect and bird friendly garden, buy less, recycle, donate to FFI, World Land Trust, Trees for Life etc).

Like with the virus, there will be a clever solution from the scientists one day so I just carry on as usual.
