A pox on ALDI and their shoddily made and not fit for purpose system!
The Aldi website is set up much like any of the other big supermarkets, in that you log in, pick a slot, fill your basket, and check out.
You supposedly have the ability to edit this order - great!
Except. The website does not recognise your password. Nope, it's incorrect. (It's not.) So, you attempt to change your password via sending a reset to your email via one of those 'forgot password' links. Email does not arrive (no, it is not in your spam folder). You try randomly on and off throughout the day - one eventually arrives.
You reset your password. You get in on your phone, then switch to laptop - your new password is incorrect! (It's really 100% definitely not.) You complete order on your phone instead, as at least you can get in there.
You spend the next two days trying - and failing - to get back in to your account. You try on phone and laptop, you send forgotten password links to your email from various devices to see if it makes any difference - it doesn't.
You contact Aldi - no reply.
This now means that you have to click and collect perhaps two thirds of* a shop, and that it's either go without some things until you can get a slot at a competent supplier* or you go into a supermarket, heavily pregnant, with a very infectious variant of COVID around.
Please tell me the shoddy website gremlins are affecting someone else apart from me?!?
