To be worried about inauguration day?

Am I?

Was talking about this at work today and I've got this terrible feeling that something is going to go horribly wrong. I'm not the only one either. I know that they've got Secret Service all over it and the National Guard, but I can't shake this feeling! I'm not even American!

Anyone else concerned?!

YABU to worry this much about some random thing in another country that doesn't particularly affect you. You're also probably right that someone will try something. But there's nothing you can do about it, so it's not something to worry about.

Actually yes, just a slightly uneasy feeling. Was discussing just this with a friend last night who also feels the same.

Not just the inauguration - it feels like the risk of an assassination attempt on the incoming president must be the highest it has been in living memory.

I think they are expecting trouble all over the place and it won't end soon, either. Those people are radicalised now.

Totally agree. Everytime I see anything about the preparation for it I get this really uneasy feeling. 🙄
