What are these outdoor lights called?

Posting on behalf of my DM who runs her own little cafe.
I can't for the life of me find the right name for what she's after and she can't either so I was hoping I could borrow the collective wisdom of mumsnet to help me.

She's looking for outdoor lights to put around the edge/border of her large cafe sign. Neon/bright and really visible in the daytime as well.
They usually look like led as its not one continuous strip they are more dotted if that makes sense.
I can visualise them in my head as Ive seen them on shops and places before but really struggling to google the right words and find them.

Could anyone help?

Do you mean like lots of individual bulbs, about the size of a normal domestic bulb? A bit like some fairgrounds have? Like these www.carousellights.com/our-lights/fairground-lights/

Try LED strip lights - they come in a reel and you can wrap them around or hang them. Mains or battery operated.

Rope lights?

A bit like led strip lights but for outside and the individual lights are a bit bigger but not lightbulb sized.
They are usually neon or bright so to be clearly attention grabbing in daylight too.

I have attached a picture of the closest thing I could find for reference but she's looking for lights like this that she could put around the edge of her rectangular sign, not a ready made sign.
