Depressed scar on forehead

Hello

My lo hit the coffetable with her head 2,5 months ago. She dropped something and wanted to crouch. The wound wasn't bleeding, to be honest there was only one tiny drop of blood. We called our doctor and showed her photo of the wound and she said if it is not bleeding there is no need to go to the hospital. Wound healed after one month but there is still depressed line which bothers me a lot. Please tell me is 2,5 months enough for that injury to completely heal or maybe there is still a chance that after some time it will go up and disappear? If you have some experience with similar situations please tell me because it drives me mad :(

P.S
I cannot add photos yet so there is a link below to show you how it looked one hour after injury and today.

My son was playing frisby with a vinyl when he was 3 and it hit him between the eyes and he got a slight cut.
It sucked as it was just an 'obvious' place.

He's 9 now and he still has the scar but you can only see it if you look for it.

FWIW though, your daughters one is far tinier and she will grow out of it. It into it, depending on how you view it.
It won't be there forever.

When my son was one he got a nasty cut on his forehead and I was upset about the scar but it is now invisible to everyone except me now (and I have to search to find it). Give it time.

Go to the chemist and buy some scar reduction silicone.. My DD now adult had a nasty star shaped raised messy scar on her forehead.. We were asked to trial it and now it's nearly invisible... It's costly.. £30 ish but really works...

Scars take at least a year to heal so I’m sure it will improve more. Like MaryLou says, silicone help as well as keeping it out of the sun.

Scarsil silicone gel sheet is really good but it would be difficult to get it to stick to the bridge of a nose (requires a 2cm border around the scar) it would also present a massive choking risk to her and is not usually prescribed for under 4 years.
I would try bio oil and lots of gentle massage.

@DontBiteTheBoobThatFeedsYou Thanks for your reply. By saying it won't be there forever you mean that with time it is gonna disappear? How long do you think it takes to heal completely?

Thanks. I wish it fill up to the skin level because I do not see any typical scar tissue on it. How long do you think I should wait for any improvement?
