Is there a cheaper alternative?

I was thinking of bulk buying shampoo, conditioner, cleaning products a couple of times a year but didn't know if there was a cheaper shop?

Pound shops, supermarket offers and Savers are cheaper but not so much range

Givemeabreak88 · 16/01/2021 16:13

B&m home bargains?

Chickenkatsu · 16/01/2021 16:21

Costco? Wilko is my shop of choice though

SchrodingersImmigrant · 16/01/2021 16:27

Watch out for super cheap. Sometimes it's nkt really cheaper per 100ml/g but it's because the bottle is small.
I bulk buy these in costco.

You can see prices online on majority of shops

Comefromaway · 16/01/2021 16:30

B & M and Home Bargains are usually the cheapest. Pound shops often tend to be smaller sizes.

Cheeseboardandmincepies · 16/01/2021 16:56

Amazon are good! Look at the subscriptions.

KizzyKat91 · 16/01/2021 17:03

I’ve found B&M quite expensive recently, especially for cleaning products. Asda Living is working out cheaper.

DobbyTheHouseElk · 16/01/2021 17:04

Lots OOS at wilkco. I tried to do the same, but too much OOS.

vanillandhoney · 16/01/2021 17:04

Home Bargains is cheaper, though the selection varies from store-to-store, and also week-to-week in my experience!

kwiksavenofrillsusername · 16/01/2021 17:22

Savers is probably the cheapest option, but the stock varies a lot. Wilko are OK if you want to shop online and stock up.

BendyLikeBeckham · 16/01/2021 17:23

what is OOS?

I find Costco is the same or more expensive than tesco/asda etc

jimjamjoo · 16/01/2021 17:25

I'm hoping to order online to avoid going to the shops. Should have mentioned that! Thanks for the tips

Out of stock?

DobbyTheHouseElk · 16/01/2021 17:26

Sorry, OOS = Out of stock. I was trying to do a wilkco online.

Tiktokersmiracle · 16/01/2021 17:27

Home Bargains is brilliant they've got all sorts in there so you could bulk buy other stuff too

maddiemookins16mum · 16/01/2021 17:30

Amazon subscriptions work for me. Sensodyne toothpaste for instance, under £2 a tube (it’s the only one that works for us before people are outraged at spending £2 on a tube of toothpaste). I also get the applicator Lil-lets from there (can’t get them many other places).

SonjaMorgan · 16/01/2021 17:31

I prefer Lidl. Their cheap shampoo, conditioner, bubble bath and cleaning products are great. I am not a fan of the lidl own brand toothpaste but that is about it. B&M is good for the reusable washing up sponges and branded toiletries.

DimidDavilby · 16/01/2021 17:32

Amazon is rinsingly expensive!
Bleddy love wilkos, yanbu.

SandysMam · 16/01/2021 17:35

Bulk buying is brilliant, I love not having to think about whether we need all that old shit!! YANBU! Get stocked up!

Hi Sensodyne mate😁 It's a great toothpaste once you get used to the taste. I stocked up on amazon too now
