I have a 2 year old and I dont look forward to the weekends and holidays infact I prefer being at work. How do other people feel with young children when the weekend and holidays come up?

and admit they are happy when their dc are at school or on contact visits ? there will be plenty, that's why they moan about long summer holidays. now is exempy from that obviously.

I have a nearly two year old full time and love it. She’s funny, interesting, a little sponge who’s into everything. It can be tiring, she’s not an amazing sleeper, but there’s nowhere I’d rather be.

Mine is far better company at 4 - you get so much more from them in terms or interaction and interesting chats

Sounds human to me, mines 4 now and it's soo much easier. I preferred being in work having adult conversations then the toddler stage.

I have an 18 month old, and work is definitely more relaxing. I find the weekends very draining.
I’m hoping that once she can talk and communicate more, and tantrum less, it will be less full on. At the moment she is basically just a walking tantrum.
Recently she had a tantrum because she had two shoes on, and wanted a third shoe on, but without taking either of the other shoes off. Basically a tantrum because she doesn’t have three feet Confused

I hear you. For me it's more I hate parenting on my own - I'd love some company from an adult to talk to and take some of the pressure off. Saying this, I much prefer toddler stage to newborn 10000%!
