NHS app query

I have 1 notification on my phone from it.
On the front of my phone, where the squares are (can you tell I am old?), it says 1. On the notifications overnight, my phone says I have one from NHS covid, it just says loading and when I click on that, it takes me to the app where there is nothing new.
Anyone had similar?

Yep, always get the fear when I see the notification pop up. Usually it's just a notification that the app is "checking exposure keys".

On the one time I had a close contact my screen would flash and off when the notification came up. This is the nhs Scotland app though.

This is the bit that is stuck. It just take me to the app and the 1 notification onhe square doesn't disappear.

I have that this morning, it's been loading for about 20 minutes and won't close down the notification until it's told be whatever it is. I've opened the app and nothing appears to have changed there.

I've got the same as well. It's probably a blip.

Mine too! Been there since yesterday evening. Definitely sounds like it's a glitch then. Try turning phone off and back on as the IT tech at work would say

Phew. I rebooted the phone twice and it is still there but I will stop worrying then. I have convinced myself I have a temperature already.

Mine's been loading for 2 hours now and a quick look on the local fb page says many others are seeing the same thing. I was also worried, especially as I hadn't been anywhere other than Tesco! I'm guessing it's an app glitch/update

Oh this is interesting, DH has had this too. It was loading all night!

Same here in Cornwall. Tried reinstalling and still doing it so must be a glitch nationwide.

If you hold the the notification it should give you the option to switch off background notifications like this..It won't affect other notifications

Went to work and it disappeared. Came home and it is back again.
