My concentration has been so shit I've actually read very little this year - am blaming lockdown Sad I want to read some anthologies to get back into it and was hoping people on here could advise! In particular am looking for:

  • Horror anthology: amazon seems full of zombie/blood and guts/overly gothic anthologies. I'm looking for an anthology of horror stories that are creepier more psychological than that if you get me!
  • London: don't know why but I fancy reading an anthology of stories set in London if that exists? 🤷‍♀️
  • Anything else you care to suggest

I'm looking for contemporary stuff in particular!

Rivers of London series. Set, well, in London. Supernatural stuff, magic, wizards, fae, folklore - all on modern day.

‘Ordinary Thunderstorms’ by William Boyd is a great ‘London’ novel.
