Bugaboo bee 6 footmuff help!

Posting for traffic. I have the bugaboo bee 6 and just bought the footmuff but I can't fix it on!! Thought it would be easy but I'm awful when it comes to understanding instructions showing only crappy diagrams

Does the original black seat padding come off first? Or does the footmuff go on top?

I haven't had a Bee since Bee 2 but with that you had to remove the straps at the bottom to fit a footmuff or liner on.
