Dust dust dust

Currently living on concrete floors (new build) having floors fitted on Tuesday next week

What is driving me nuts is the dust- everywhere. Every surface. I am so so so desperate to vacuum and dust and clean to my hearts content but DH insists I just relax and leave it as it will only build up again over the weekend.

What do I do?! Blitz the place tomorrow so it's at least not as bad or just wait until next week and give it all a deep clean.

It's 9.25 and I seriously want to get the hoover out!!!

I don't understand the logic of leaving it because 'what's the point'. It drives someone mad, that's the point.

Assuming you have new neighbours at your new house, definitely don't get the hoover out now! Can't imagine it would be the way to make friends.

I would clean surfaces, but not hoover - unsealed concrete is the dust giver that never ceases. If you can - ask if anyone has any free rolls of wall paper and use these like long runners of carpet until your floors go down. It really helps to keep the dust down.

Hoover didn't come out haha but it probably will tomorrow!!!

As suggested I will probably wipe over all surfaces tomorrow and leave floors as nothing can be done. At least it won't be such a big clean this time next week and I can enjoy the house being relatively clean for the weekend.
