School exams

My DC was supposed to be doing entrance exams for secondary school this week. The school had cancelled, which seemed like the right decision to me given the circumstances (we are in Kent). The school have just emailed to say the exam is back on again and will take place next week.

I feel very uncomfortable about this given everything that's going on. I'm not even going out to do food shopping.

AIBU? Should the school wait until this is over?

The school is large and mostly empty. Social distancing should be a piece of cake.

If they've made suitable arrangements I would just do it but then we're all still going out to work each day so I accept others feel differently.

Ours were taking place on the 23rd but have been cancelled, exam is now online with zoom interview.

I was happy to go ahead, the school have been brilliant at dealing with this year and we'd already been sent covid arrangements - children were being taken in small cohorts.

But it is what it is. And DS might so better with one online exam.
