To ask for help with iPhone storage

Phone is driving me nuts... iPhone 8
I seem to be deleting the same 60 or so photos per day and my storage is still full no matter how many I delete without adding more
Have also deleted apps and the storage still says it’s all used even though I’ve clearly deleted lots of MB.
The same photos keep reappearing so I think they are backed up and therefore keep appearing which I don’t want
Also it stops my emails coming through normally
Help... any tips?

Photos > albums > scroll right down to “recently deleted” and delete again from there.

iPhone keeps deleted photos for 30 days so is still using the space.

Also go to system > general > iPhone storage and see which apps (that you don't use any more) are still taking up space. Delete those (once you're sure you don't need the data!)

Have you deleted large attachments (videos, photos) from your messages and WhatsApps?
For the text messages, try: Settings > General > iPhone Storage then "Review Large Attachments"
The Facebook app can take up a lot of space. Just delete it then re-install, you won't lose any of your data as that's with Facebook's servers.
