Funeral restrictions

Hi, posting for traffic.

My dad's funeral is on Wednesday, we were tier 3 so it was a maximum of 30 attending.

In light of tonight's government announcement I don't know where that leaves us. Does anyone know? I can't find out anything definitive online and it's too late to get hold of anyone tonight.

I'm just wondering how many will be allowed in church because it's so soon and I need to let people know.

My FIL funeral is on the 19th so have been looking for updates.

From what I could see in the official document online is that funerals can have a max of 30 people so no change

In Scotland its maximum of 20 ppl

Probably eat to call the funeral directors tomorrow as they will have had time to analyse these new restrictions.

I have checked the online documents and believe it to still be 30 people and 6 at a wake.

In England it is still 30 at the service. The guidance is linked to from the BBC article.

The government website isn’t updated on funerals yet. I would call your funeral director in the morning, they will know the position for numbers at a lockdown funeral.

30 still, however it does depend on the size of the room. My nans we were only allowed 15 as the biggest room couldn't fit in 30 to allow for social distancing

My mums is Thursday, I have seen 30 and 6 at ash scattering. Xxx to all those on the same position of checking, it is awful
