To ask about wellies!

I'm after wellies to fit my ridiculously massive calf's (about 50cm)!!!
Obviously the ones that are available to me are ridiculously expensive so ladies with big calf's AIBU to ask what do you have?

I buy the lower mid calf wellies rather than the knee high ones. I have big calves too. Not sure on size but maybe 45cm but I have some from Asda at the minute and they have space so might be worth a try!

I bought short wellies from Muck Boot Co with neoprene tops so they're not rigid with a little stretch, and are easier to pull on and off too! Like these.

Those are the exact wellies I was about to recommend! I've had them for years and love them. Someone only complimented me on them yesterday!

The only downside is where the elastic starts where the wellie bit separates isn't waterproof on mine... as I discovered this weekend while wading round the edge of a flooded lake! It does look like they might have improved this since I got mine.

I'm pleased to see they've put buckles on now, rather than the clips I've got - mine do come undone a bit too easily.

I have really wide feet and these are still a little big. I do find it easier, warmer and more comfortable to wear some extra thick walking socks (which I then can pull up over my skinny jeans to keep them in place too).
