Is meant to be able to find a job when they have also been told to shield?

Quite a lot of work from home jobs around at the moment. Sorry not sure of your background or salary expectation. Hope you find something soon though

If not office based could be quite hard.

Yes look for a job where you can temporarily work form home. Lots of office jobs are doing this even if not specified in the job advert.

I started my current role during lockdown and although I had to attend an interview in person, I have been predominantly working from home.

I had quite a few interviews online, so it is quite normal at the moment.

All interviews have been moved on-line in the experience of my dc.

Not me, a family member and she is a childcarer. Can't imagine anyone taking her on right now.

I assume she couldn't do her previous job while shielding anyway if it's in-person childcare?

I was made redundant in March, had a phone interview and got a new job that way but I have had to completely change industry.

She was furloughed from March then got made redundant in November.

Local health boards are advertising for remote admin staff to support the vaccination programme. Could she do that?
