Sorry, I just had to share this: twitter.com/adamgarriereal/status/1345135251190935552

Am I being unreasonable to find it hilarious that this man is having his arse handed to him by basically everyone.

(In case you haven't got twitter it's an image the Government have put out to mark the end of tax on sanitary products and they have gasps included an image of a tampon - this chap Adam Garrie has retweeted and commented " Good policy but is this obscene image really necessary?")

Twitter does not agreeGrin

How does he cope walking through Tesco health aisle?

MissBaskinIfYoureNasty · 02/01/2021 13:15

What a dick 🤣

SnuggyBuggy · 02/01/2021 13:17

Won't someone please think of the children

alibongo5 · 02/01/2021 13:18

I love that loads of people have rightly asked him whether he has the same view about toilet paper (he tried to justify why he thought it obscene by saying it was to do with bodily fluids below the waist!)

But seriously, as well as being funny it is actually very sad that this view is held nowadays.

LeaveMyDamnJam · 02/01/2021 13:18

I might have replied 🤣

babbi · 02/01/2021 13:20

Probably not appropriate but I found James Feltons comment in response to this hilarious...

Cheeseycheeseycheesecheese · 02/01/2021 13:20

I love how he says its not necessary and a textual statement would suffice and also claims it conjures images of bodily fluids 🤦‍♀️ something tells me he has too much time on his hands and is over thinking.

I asked dh and he said "it's a tampon, it's not offensive"

Soubriquet · 02/01/2021 13:26

I like the one who posted the tampon covered in blood Grin

Sarahandduck18 · 02/01/2021 13:27

Misogynist.

SingToTheSky · 02/01/2021 13:28

This post 😂 apparently the curve is suggestive?!

YouBoughtMeAWall · 02/01/2021 13:30

The imagine in question is. There is an implication of bodily fluids and the particular curvature of the specific image is overly suggestive.

The curvature is overly suggestive?

I could suggest what he’s in denial about but I’d probably be deleted these days.

viques · 02/01/2021 13:31

Does he wipe his arse with his eyes closed in case he spies a roll of toilet paper?

RMRM · 02/01/2021 13:33

I'm so sick of pathetic men not being able to cope with anything to do with periods.

PatchworkElmer · 02/01/2021 13:35

😂😂😂

warmandtoasty2day · 02/01/2021 13:36

he has obviously led a VERY sheltered life Grin

nothingcanhurtmewithmyeyesshut · 02/01/2021 13:36

Better hope there isn't a Super Drug near him. Or God forbid an Ann Summers! Poor wee lad will have a fit of the vapours. Grin

Whatwouldscullydo · 02/01/2021 13:39

The comments are a joy to behold

EveryDayIsADuvetDay · 02/01/2021 13:40

16 year olds DS showed me this earlier - he also finds the comments hilarious and can't believe anyone is this stupid. I must have done something right!

AndcalloffChristmas · 02/01/2021 13:41

How on Earth is that offensive or suggestive of anything?

I mean I guess at a stretch they could have made it look a bit less like a sperm! But showing a bit of string standing absolutely straight would be weird, like it was on the moon or something.

RedRum27 · 02/01/2021 13:42

I saw this and thought how fragile of him! Someone ought to show him what a tampon really looks like, he may not survive! I wonder what he does when he has use toilet roll, close his eyes?? Ridiculous man.

StanfordPines · 02/01/2021 13:42

I can’t help but wonder if he has said this knowing it would blow up. Had anyone ever heard of him and his radio station before today?

StillCoughingandLaughing · 02/01/2021 13:42

If we’re talking offensive images, he should take down the picture of his face.

DappledThings · 02/01/2021 13:45

Is it serious? Is there any chance he's taking a very dedicated attitude to parody? I only read the first 30 or so comments.

KosherSalt · 02/01/2021 13:45

Grin Though actually I'm crosser with that idiot Tory Bernard Jenkin suggesting that the abolition of VAT on tampons is a positive side-effect of Brexit, which is nonsense. Ireland abolished VAT on sanitary products the year before last, while in the EU. Ursula von de L was not forcing member countries to tax periods.
