Lockdown birthday ideas

Pretty upset that my big birthday is in a month and I'll be in lockdown like everyone else obviously.

I had planned to go away but didn't book anything thankfully. Never been a party person (obviously wouldn't happen anyway). Love eating out, shopping etc but that's not going to be an option either. Hate being stuck at home lol

What has everyone else done on their birthdays? Is there anything I haven't thought of? Cinema would have been nice but alas that'll be closed too.

January birthdays are no fun in lockdown 😔

Is there a local nice restaurants that do at home boxes?

My 40th was buggered in the first lockdown - came at end of first week.

No ideas unfortunately as mine sucked, nice takeaway and bunch of supermarket flowers was best hubby could do - and I did appreciate that. But much sympathy.

January birthdays suck without a pandemic imo - being in tier 4 for my big birthday in a couple of weeks I feel your pain. My lovely best friend is trying to think of things to do but there isn't a lot! A friend did an online murder mystery thing for her big birthday, but we (the audience) didn't know each other and it was impossible to have a conversation really. She enjoyed it though!

I’m worried about this too.

I have an ideal world birthday (realistic) to go spend a few days in a hotel close to an outlet.

I have an ‘under tier 4’ plan but can’t travel nationally which is a big shopping trip in my local town, with dinner.

Still working on my ‘stuck at home’ plan because after the past year I am just so lacklustre and nothing appeals. Maybe have a take away and buy a new film on Amazon for a ‘cinema’ feeling.

Dreading a lockdown birthday

Cocktail making class? But then I think, I'll be home and pissed alone. Which is a bit depressing!

Watching with interest. Mine is in Feb so not very hopeful that we will be out of tier 4. I have a feeling I am a decade or two older though 😨

I just had a big birthday. All my lovely plans were cancelled obviously and as we're tier 4 there aren't very many options at all.

We ended up with a big seafood party platter from Sainsburys and a bottle of champagne. DH and the kids got me some lovely presents and flowers and it was ok.

I am going to do something special like a luxury hotel break or something like that but when we can enjoy it and do it properly. Hopefully next year sometime.
