Inspired by another thread - if you have a large family, and / or a few children close in age, how do you honestly feel about it?
I have three under age four with around 18 months between each - all planned. I love them all so so much and do not regret having them at all, but it is such hard work. Insane. With back-to-back pregnancy and breastfeeding I feel my body hasn’t been my own for five years. My DH is supportive and a great dad but the bulk of child rearing falls to me.
On the flip side, during lockdown my elder two had each other to play with when we couldn’t see anyone else.
One of my close friends has an only and I must admit I sometimes feel jealous.
