Selloptape again

I purchased a 12-roll set of tape and I find that each of the ones used so far are splitting along the length of the tape. I have tried using scissors instead of the built-in cutter but it still happens. There must be something wrong with the manufacturing process.

Is it Sellotape or a different brand? DH bought non Sellotape this year as it was cheaper. It was crap.
Can you take it back to where you bought it?

Invention of the devil.

No not ST brand - Packatape and it was from eBay. I can cope with it as it is not worth sending it back for what is involved. However, I have ordered some strong Sellotape (brand) and I hope that is better.

Never compromise on sellotape. It’s got to be scotch or sellotape. Everything is a false economy once you’ve spent hours faffing with split ends and narrowing of the end as you pull it off the roll.

Completely agree with never ever compromising on Sellotape or Scotchtape. The amount of grief inferior tape causes! I only ever buy either of those two brands, having learned my lesson a few years ago. I had to use inferior tape one year (from Card Factory). Never again! As soon as I could replace it I threw the inferior tape away n

I have found that Morrisons (and some other supermarkets - but their price unkown) are selling 25 mm Sellotape rolls for 50p each this week.
