BILs girlfriend posted a photo on FB of a past Christmas when they were all happy. In said photo two of the couples are already divorced and with someone else. I get that it was a tough year but surely a photo with both her SIL and her BIL with their ex spouses is a bit cringe? And disrespectful to the current DPs.

It IS cringe! My friend split with her DH (he left her) two years ago and she never looked at FB since...when the memories come up she's devastated. Someone could have seen that photo and been made to feel very sad.

@FortunesFave It’s not the point of the thread but there’s a setting in memories to stop any memories of a specific person coming up - which might help your friend

Yeah I don't think anybody got particularly sad, I don't think they're FB friends with the exW (and she's engaged!), but yes it's definitely cringey.
