Nothing on TV. All 3 males in my house are watching spiderman. I can't get warm in the house. I have a other 9 days off work.
What can I do?

Can you get under a blanket and read a book? Have a nice bath?

CoronaIsWatching · 26/12/2020 20:37

First world problems

katy1213 · 26/12/2020 20:38

Bridgerton.

lljkk · 26/12/2020 20:38

Lastfreakinglegs · 26/12/2020 20:39

Well yes it is a first world problem, but we're living in the first world.

Read, paint, puzzle, draw, nap, meditate, watch YouTube, Duolingo, workout (YouTube/dvd etc), yoga, organise all your new possessions from Xmas, have a bath ?

mygenericusername · 26/12/2020 20:41

Give it a rest @CoronaIsWatching.

What would you normally do in your free time OP? Turn the heating, get a glass of wine and get a hot bath.

Lastfreakinglegs · 26/12/2020 20:41

It's exacerbated by the fact I'm staying in a house with someone I'm not getting on with. I can't go into outing details but it's making me uncomfortable and I think that's why I'm bored. I'm counting down the hours but don't want to wish my holiday away as work will be very full on once I'm back.

SheilaWilcox · 26/12/2020 20:45

Yep, I'm bored and it's getting me down having nothing to look forward to.

Sort your wardrobe? / Something that will make life easier when you're back at work?

Poptart4 · 26/12/2020 20:49

Bored out of my mind. Alcohol isnt even helping right now.

Theres nothing to do and nothing to look forward too.

StoneofDestiny · 26/12/2020 20:52

OP - any chance of making your excuses to go back home early, then you can choose what to do, when and how.

FestiveStuffing · 26/12/2020 20:52

I'm watching all creatures great and small. If there's a channel five plus one I think it should've just started on there.

Lastfreakinglegs · 26/12/2020 20:55

@StoneofDestiny it's a bit of a complicated family situation but I'm desperately trying to think of a reason to get out gracefully. My kids would be really upset though. They love it here 🙄Hmm

Books definitely. Download the Kindle app to your phone if you don’t have any with you. I also while (wile?) away time doing old New York Times crosswords on their app.

Foghead · 26/12/2020 21:00

Tomorrow go out for a bit. It usually helps.
Today -
Chat to a friend
Watch something on Netflix
Listen to music from your youth ir that cheers you up on YouTube
Plan some goals for next year.
Read a book

Pukkatea · 26/12/2020 21:04

Oh god me too, I hate this time of year, so so so bloody boring.

NewIdeasToday · 26/12/2020 21:05

Bridgerton on Netflix. Fab escapism. Just what’s needed at the moment.

veeeeh · 26/12/2020 21:08

Watch Allie Sherlock on youtube. You might want to see ALL her vids. 4+million subs too!

She is a busker from Cork in Ireland, and plays along Grafton Street in Dublin. She is only fifteen years old and is an amazing singer. Passed many an hour for me!

Just a suggestion.

This is one of my favourites...

ProbablyFault · 26/12/2020 21:13

I'm bored and tipsy as well 🙈.
