The day after a roast- chicken legs with extra crispy skin and juicier meat than breast, extra crispy potatoes and roasted veg, crispy stuffing. And gravy has a richer flavour.

Hot chicken has a slimy, slippery sort of texture. Cold chicken firms up, has more flavour, and is amazing with a little salt. Yanbu.

Agreed. Same with gammon. I’ve been sneaking out to the kitchen and carving myself slabs of cold meat all evening 😂

I always prefer 'leftover' meals to the actual Christmas dinner if I'm honest.

Every Boxing Day my dad does cold turkey, ham, pigs in blankets and stuffing, with some hot spouts and carrot mash, plus homemade chips, gravy and some white crusty bread. It's so close to a Christmas dinner, but isn't, and this is hands down my favourite meal of the year. I think it's party because I'm so relieved we got through the previous day unscathed!
