Anyone tried it?

We have a ninja one wrapped up to open Christmas Day - so can’t trial if it tastes the same as oven roasted?

Ooh watching with interest. We got a hand me down airfyer a while back and only used it for wedges. I wasn't too impressed but it would be handy if it made good roasties.

Yep! Parboil and rough up potatoes like usual. I put the oil in the actifry and turn it on for a couple of minutes to heat the oil. I take the paddle out as its mashed them in the past! Then I put the potatoes in and give them a stir round in the oil. Pop them on and stir then round every so often. Really crispy and yummy!!

Makes the best roasties.

Peel them, add 1-2 tablespoons of veg oil, pinch of salt, 1 tablespoon of flour (if you want) and hit go.

Depends how you like them as to how much to cook them - 45 - 60 mins then in the oven to keep warm.

I did roast potatoes in my Ninja about a week ago along with a roast chicken.

Absolutely fabulous potatoes, fluffy on the inside and crisp outer!

Never thought of trying it

I will now

(Love mine...just had some sliced new potatoes as part of my breakfast)

Any tips on how you did your spuds - lots of people saying parboil.

I do extras in the oven and reheat them in the actifry. Roasties in ten minutes happy days Grin

I think I am going to do that this year, I usually do them in just airfryer for sunday lunch but thought I'd roast in the oven today and reheat tomorrow to save oven space but wasnt sure how they would come out so glad to hear they are nice
