Do you eat the turkey skin?

I usually give the skin to the dog because no humans in our house like to eat it. This year I'm considering making turkey crackling (kinda like you would make schmaltz and gribenes) with it though. I think that would be tasty.

So, do you eat the turkey skin?

YABU - Yes, we eat it
YANBU - No, we don't eat it

No, it’s not nice.

Yes! Best bit but it’s got to be super crispy. Slimy soggy skin is vile.

grassisjeweled · 24/12/2020 01:29

Jamie does it as a garnish for riss o toe

As PP said it's the best bit but only if the Turkey has been cooked as to only be identified by it's dental records.

I love it, nice and crispy. I also like chicken skin.

I've decided I'm going to cook the turkey breast sous vide and bake the skin separately so that it ends up extra crispy otherwise I wouldn't touch it.

I make it crispy and eat it alone in the kitchen when no one is watching.

Never used to like it but now yum. Has to be really crispy tho. Still can’t eat pork crackling.
