To not understand why

So to cut a long story short I’ve been working from him since March . The noise from next door means I’ve moved from room to room in my house trying to get a bit of quiet. The lady who lives next door seems to have 2 teenage daughters who live with their boyfriends but seem to spend all day in their mums house. Normally I’m at work in the office and wouldn’t hear the noise but it’s driving me mad . Would you say something or ignore.

What sort of noise? If its during the day and isn't absolutely ridiculous I wouldn't say anything.

Depends on the noise. Drums? Hot sex? Coldplay?

So one them has a little boy who runs around slamming doors and screaming very loudly. Also wooden floors so it sounds like a herd of elephants. I will try and ignore as life is to short to fall out with neighbours. Maybe noise cancelling headphones are called for 😀

Stick the radio on to break up the noise.

@TheSilentStars we have had hot sex noises but not got a while now thank god. Just not sure why you would spend all day in your mums house ? Is it just me ?

@Orf1abc I have rescued my Alexa from my sons room and have rediscovered some music from the 80,s. Just showing my age there

I have been working from home since March and next door started on a massive extension in early July. The builders shouting to one another singing banging drilling is a nightmare. Alexa comes in useful for 80’s music. Or I often put a blast on of the classic ‘Just what I always wanted’ when the noise starts.

@Randomrebel Alexa is now firmly in place and will be used slot more. Much to my sons disgust as he was using it

If it was Coldplay I would definitely say something. Bedwetting music.
