Last-minute Christmas help - Chocolate boxes/tins??

Hello!

So I don’t usually celebrate Christmas but recently moved into a neighbourhood with lots of friendly neighbours who do! For the first time, I want to actually make a small effort to say merry Christmas as well as thank them for being so welcoming.

I was thinking some nice chocolate boxes or biscuits tins to play it safe but with all the current panic buying, last min Christmas shopping and covid restrictions, I don’t want to be traipsing round 5 different stores.

Asda, Tesco, Morrison’s, Sainsbury’s, Lidl - I live near all of them.

Can you please suggest where I can find some good offers (on a budget) on choc boxes/biscuit tins to make a nice treat for the neighbours?

Thank you!!! Wine

Morrisons have boxes of celebrations for £2 x

M&S do nice boxes of chocolate biscuits for £3 a box, quite a good size box too... we buy these for neighbours every year.

I’d say M and S or a brand name from Sainsburys, if you want to look like you made an effort. Sainsburys probably do those mini packs of green and blacks, they are cute and seem quite posh without costing much.

I've just bought the mini Green and Blacks ones for my neighbours from Sainsburys! They also have boxes of Lily O'briens in.

Sainsbury’s are sound lovely Christmas tree shaped tins of biscuits for £7. Really different and nice

Some lovely ideas so far! Totally forgot M&S was an option!

I’ll be popping into the shops today so if anyone has any more suggestions please let me know, thanks x

What a nice neighbour you sound, hope you live near me Grin

The Green & Blacks with a piece of ribbon tied round with a tag with appreciative note would make me feel very appreciated 🥰 (or any chocs/bics + the note tbh!). Your idea is really lovely and good neighbours make for a happier home life, merry Christmas!
