to ask how quickly you fell pregnant

..after your periods returned whilst breastfeeding? sorry to post here but no response on conception board. I have just had my first period since baby was born. she is nearly 13 months. still breastfed but eats well, 3 meals a day. still breastfeeds probably two/three times a day and if she wakes at night. period was normal for me - 2 days of heavy ish blood and tailing off these last 2 days.

how quickly did you fall once your periods came back? was your cycle normal?

I fell pregnant after my first period. I had it when ds was 17 months and probably feeding about the same as your baby.

The period was short for me, about 3 days where previously it would have been more like 5 and it wasn't as heavy as I'd have thought it would be, very bright red blood rather than that dark thick kind. (sorry probably tmi)

I did take ovulation tests but I didn't get a clear positive and didn't get a positive test until day 50ish of that cycle so I suspect it was a very long cycle.

Hasn't been very long though and am waiting to find out when my 12 week scan will be when I'll be able to get a more definate date.
