It’s like they have tried to tick every box possible re diversity tonight and the blatency (am pretty sure that’s not even a word!) is just making me cringe... it’s just.so.obvious! Every Liverpool fan they interviewed was from a minority group... women, gay, black, Asian... then pan to the crowd and they’re all white men. It just wasn’t representative. Surely that’s the goal? To be representative of society? It just annoyed me that they’re trying sooooo hard to be PC that it’s actually coming across as false. To put a spin on things I am actually from a minority group myself so this is not a right wing rant -far from it. If equality is to be truly achieved then surely it shouldn’t be so.... false? Rubbed in everyone’s face? Does this make sense? Oh and it’s just Gary Linekar’s chin that’s annoying me. Wish he’d get rid of that stubble
