Eat them with hot or cold meats, on toast, or make a Victoria sandwich cake.
Enjoy them you lucky person!

I’ve had quince jam with cheese before. It was nice.

BarefootInTheMoonlitSnow · 20/12/2020 17:42

Manchego cheese with the quince, and a strong irish cheese for the crab apple.

Quince jam is divine with a lot of cheeses, including Cheshire. Lucky you!

partyatthepalace · 20/12/2020 17:45

I love quince jelly just on French bread w unsalted butter!!! Just wonderfully sweet/sharp.

Also nice w cheese, obvs

Em3978 · 20/12/2020 17:45

We eat ours with roast dinner, quince goes really well with roast pork or turkey!

EmbarrassingAdmissions · 20/12/2020 17:47

Stir them into gravy, yoghurt, sweet sauces, savoury sauces.

Remelt and convert into Christmas Jam:

I'd also use it to slacken mincemeat for mince pies.

Quince jelly with blue cheese

onyourway · 20/12/2020 17:51

Crab apple jelly with roast chicken or chicken pie Smile

mollscroll · 20/12/2020 17:54

Yes with cheese. Or a sort of quince bakewell.

modgepodge · 20/12/2020 17:56

Crackers, Brie, quiche jelly 😋😋😋

modgepodge · 20/12/2020 17:57

Quince jelly. Quiche jelly sounds gross.

QuinceJellyxixi · 20/12/2020 18:07

Thank you all for all of these ideas. I have plenty of different cheeses and crackers already, so will try the Quince Jelly and Crabapple Jelly with these for starters!

Another vote for quince jelly and cheese, on oat crackers
