I had a customer service voucher from a large multinational company the other day because of a parcel not arriving on next day delivery when they said it would so I decided to order a treat for myself for a change.

It's now arrived and instead of one box of chocolates they have sent three. I've double checked the order and I did only order one and the order only went through once but there are three boxes in the same parcel.

Would you tell them? As it's food would they be able to take it back?

No I wouldn't tell them.
It's 2020 - enjoy!!

DramaAlpaca · 19/12/2020 19:01

The chances are that if you let them know they'll tell you to keep them anyway.

Small family business? I'd definitely tell them. Large multinational company? I'd enjoy them all the more because 2/3rds of them were free.

sd249 · 19/12/2020 19:12

I wouldn't - but i'd probably give the other two to the foodbank so then someone would get it who it would make a massive difference to.

I'd tell a small family company and offer to pay for them or return them, I hate a guilty conscience.

That's a good idea about the foodbank. I'll give them a call.

It wasn't M & S was it? I had flowers sent and three lots arrived! Only one charged. They had put my name and not that of the recipient on the address and no message included. Thankfully I had forewarned that something was arriving but they were rather bemused when three big boxes turned up.

perditaplum · 19/12/2020 19:57

No, not M&S. What happened with the flowers?

YakkityYakYakYak · 19/12/2020 20:44

Hell no - enjoy!

@YakkityYakYakYak

Hell no - enjoy!
I think I will. Nobody else in the house knows about them either, it's a boring cardboard box which I've hidden Grin
