Is someone getting their kicks from snogging threads?

Every time I look at mumsnet there is a new thread inviting people to talk about whether they enjoy "snogging".

Two recentish ones have had the exact title - Do you still 'snog' your husband? (complete with identical inverted commas)

The word itself makes me want to vom so I may be hypersensitive to such threads.

I cannot STAND the word. Bring back "Frenching"

I don't like the word snog. Awful word. However l like a good snogging thread. Why not. Better than bloody COVID or yet another MiL thread.

"Aibu to snog my MIL?"

BexR · 19/12/2020 19:22

Ywbu to snog Bob Dylan. Bet he would make nasally "mmm" appreciative noises throughout.

Not even if he's willin'
Should you ever snog Bob Dylan
I will die on that hill(un)
