Ok so I need to know if people think I'm being unreasonable to be concerned that I have the Allergen TRX textured in, that have now been recalled by several countries. They have been linked to a cancer of the immune system called ALCL in a small, but obviously significant number of women, leading to some deaths. I've had them in for 8 years and they were sold to me as a very safe alternative implant to the ones I previously had in, which were the PIP implants. These had to be removed due to obvious health concerns as anyone with knowledge of the PIP scandal will be aware of. Presently the advice is not to have the Allergen implants removed unless women become symptomatic and develop symptoms, and the warranty does not cover cost of removal or replacement unless this becomes the case, so it would be self funded. Anyone else have these implants and have concerns or just me?
