To buy from wish?

So I keep seeing 'wish' come up- some crazy cheap prices and some very weird items!
Has anybody bought from wish before? Is it ok to buy from?!?!? It all seems so random x

Yabu. It's made with zero regard for brand ownership, labour rights or use of sustainable materials, it'll take ages to arrive, and the quality won't bear rewashing.

Things can't be that cheap without someone, somewhere, suffering for it.

Awful awful awful

What you see in the picture isn’t what you get. The pictures on Wish are the original item, the product is a copy, a badly made copy made of very cheap raw materials. Try Googling Wish expectations versus reality if you want to see for yourself.

I use Aliexpress because it's frequently cheaper than Wish - you don't pay shipping on a lot of items. You can buy the exact same items on amazon or ebay from UK sellers who will have just imported it and then sell it on at 5X the price. It takes about 2 weeks for items to arrive and I mostly buy stickers, washi tapes and other stationery items. I wouldn't bother with clothes or skin care and make up products.

Thank you all- I thought it looked too good for the prices! Xx

Also read the reviews for your item, especially look for picture reviews. Don't order from sellers with a rating below 4.7 stars and never ever close the dispute.

Its chinese amazon.

Lots of copied goods. Nice stationery.

It takes an age to get to you. Brexit will have happened by the time anything you order gets to you so I dont know if there will be vat or tariffs to pay.

I do buy the odd thing if I cant get it locally (not in the uk). I buy a lot less since I read on mn that they were copies. I rather naivley thought they were excess! Also the safety standards are notbthe EU ones. And yes sweatshops .
