To ask whether anyone else experiences this with a migraine?

Whenever I have a migraine I feel really cold and shivery even when the radiators are boring with heat. When I take my temperature it can go as high as 38 degrees (this is every time I have a migraine) does anyone else have experience of this or am I some sort of freak Grin (I don’t have a migraine or fever atm)

I'll often alternate between feeling really cold and sweating like a broken fridge.

Pinkpercy · 15/12/2020 20:32

Yes my temperature can be all over the place!

Mmsnet101 · 15/12/2020 20:38

Yes, but when this happens it's usually because I've had a manic day /overtired and haven't eaten properly, then gorge on sugary snacks... I think it must be to do with blood/sugar levels

I’ve never taken my temperature when I have a migraine (don’t own a thermometer) but definitely have waves of chills. It’s not a good time.

I feel horribly hot and sweaty, not cold but a temp fluctuation.

LakieLady · 15/12/2020 20:42

I never thought to take my temperature, but I always felt really cold when I had migraines, except for a few minutes after each bout of puking, when I'd feel really hot.

Now I'm post-menopausal, my migraines are very few and far between, and nothing like as bad as they were.

Yep I get this every time, my whole body just feels completely discombobulated!
