I know it’s been a difficult year and it’s an exciting time of year for children with Christmas coming, but is it unreasonable to expect that my children at least do some things I ask of them? Have spent the morning listening to DS9 and DD5 shouting at each other, arguing over everything, hitting, and with DS having him answer back and refuse all I ask of him (nothing to taxing - think getting dressed, brush teeth etc). Am exhausted by it all and no amount of consequences seem to have any effect. His behaviour has been getting worse over the year and I have no idea what to do next! Any advice?
