In a couple of interview processes, and decided to take offer #1. Process 2 then said they wanted to fast track me to final stage. I told recruiter I didn't want that but got a bit of a hard sell.

Interview for process 2 is today and decided over weekend to take offer #1 and sign the contract, recruiter is still asking me to meet them even though I have said I want to withdraw and the contract is signed...

I keep saying I want to withdraw but he is encouraging me to meet them regardless - what to do?? I just feel like it is a waste of time.

Just say no. They get commission from getting people in front of clients which is why they are pushing.

Just be firm and final. "Thank you for inviting me to meet you, but I am withdrawing my application and will not be able to meet you. Good luck with finding the right applicant."

Just don’t go, they can’t force you!

If they won't take the answer, just agree and don't turn up
