To think he might 'like' me?

Colleague at work. I've only been there since October. We have different jobs but work on the same floor.

We've only exchanged polite nods in passing until now but today he kept finding a reason to come and talk to me about anything, 5 times in total.

If you were me would you think he possibly 'likes' me or is just being polite?

Obviously there’s a chance he does. But he might want to borrow money. Who knows?

It’s hard to say if he’s only just started doing this today. He might have just been feeling particularly social, or trying to be friendly if you’ve been there a few weeks and he hasn’t really spoken to you yet. I’d see what he does this week. Do you like him?

MiddlesexGirl · 13/12/2020 20:17

Hard to tell with so little to go on.
Do you want him to like you?

rottiemum88 · 13/12/2020 20:18

I mean, how could he 'like' you if there have been no interactions before today? Whether he finds you attractive is a slightly different question, but as PP have said, it's quite hard to tell based on the limited information you've given. Maybe he does, or maybe he was just short on other people to speak to today 🤷🏼‍♀️

I think YABU to think anything from it based on one day, see how it goes over the next weeks. Why do you want something to happen

Ludo6 · 13/12/2020 20:23

He's very handsome, so I was hoping that maybe it indicated the same Grin

Do you feel like there’s a match there?

Ludo6 · 13/12/2020 20:29

From my side there could be indeed, I'm not going to make that obvious until I'm confident I won't make a twat of myself Grin
