Can you freeze citrus fruit?

I was thinking of slicing some oranges and lemons and putting in the freezer to use in drinks at Christmas.
Has anyone done this? I wasn’t sure if the texture would be ok as well as the taste?
Thank you

I keep frozen lemons and limes for drinks and it works fine.

Used to buy them (slices of lemons and limes) from the freezer section in TESCO, not seen then in ages though. They were perfect for drinks.

Now I just slice them up and lay them out separately on a tray (chopping board is good) and place in freezer, when frozen I put them in bags and then back in the freezer for later.
