I was read a book as a very young child. It touched on the subject of death, and I remember the character talking about "going down a long tunnel". That's literally all I can remember, but I'm desperate to find this book. My dad read it to me, but has since passed away, and I would really like to reunite with it. Thanks everyone!

@purpleme12 THANK YOU! 🤗 I've just ordered it to my Kindle and will read it this evening before bed. I knew it involved an animal but I was so young when it was read to me, my memory is all fuzzy.
