you will have to forgive me. i am not so sure where i can do this. i have been a big lurker for a long time. i understand it's a mums group but i have watched so many posts where some great advice posts have come from. i may not be a parent but maybe one in the future so it is great to be a part of something that may help. but i also enjoy the group for it's support to all. hope that is a starting point

Do you have a question or a thing to mention? I'm not sure how you would like people to respond to this. Welcome to Mumsnet, however!

hi. i had been just thinking so much as being a lurker for a long time. the group seems very informative and fun. plus if i do have a DC i will be able to interact with other families. not just that we can come together eventually. life is a strange thing. but a lot of social topics come up on here so it will be interesting

All sounds good OP, but usually people come on here with an idea in mind to start a thread Grin. Still, welcome and I hope you enjoy the community!

ilovesooty · 05/12/2020 21:10

You don't have to be a parent to post here.

firthy85 · 05/12/2020 21:19

Bloodypunkrockers · 05/12/2020 22:30

If you've been a lurker, you might know this is AIBU

So for that YABU

slashlover · 05/12/2020 22:37

You've been a lurker for a long time but posted this in AIBU?

YABU.

Iminaglasscaseofemotion · 05/12/2020 22:44

Thats a couple of new posters making threads to introduce themselves in the last week or so. Is this a new thing?

firthy85 · 06/12/2020 00:09

yes been a lurker for a while just silently looking at some of the posts. i wasn't really wure where was appropriate to post this first thread. but i will get there. its a strange one because i don't have any dc's but i was impressed by the range of topics had read on here and that is what made me look at partisipating.

Welcome OP. Possibly a mistake to post your first thread on a Saturday night, you might get ripped to pieces by crazy vipers 😂

CrotchBurn · 06/12/2020 01:10

Hello. We play hard ball here. Welcome!

midnightstar66 · 06/12/2020 05:50

Chat might have been a better place to post this, AIBU is more for debating a topic or situation, but welcome all the same.

Moms I am so upset today. I signed up my children for tumbling and after the first class I signed them up for skill clinic. My friends daughter who was in gymnastics for years too signed up and of course tumbling class was for more advanced students, I had no idea, I am so upset that I set my children for something they didn’t enjoy and lost motivation and embarrassed that they felt so lost. What do i say/do?

CreosoteQueen · 21/03/2021 06:27

Is it that big a deal? Just book them into a more suitable class. Also you should start your own thread rather than posting a response on a completely unrelated one, you will get more relevant responses.

GingerNinjer · 21/03/2021 07:12

I don’t know why but I find this thread hilarious 😂 the vague OP and then the random post about tumblers class ... 😂 wtf
