YANBU. Not only is he handsome, he's also mature and grounded. Which seems like a rarity in that show! Dawson was such a whining little toad, borderline narcissist .

And Joshua Jackson continues to be an utterly fine man too I'll watch him in anything.

I think you’ve hit the nail on the head with Dawson. The actor James Van whatever his name is comes across as a knob too.

@BornInAThunderstorm, yes not sure I can cope with too much Dawson. I suspect I might find him rather tiresome now I'm, umm, a little bit older (Nothing against James Van der Beek who always comes across as lovely).

Currently watching all the chappy netflix Xmas films so might tackle Dawson's creek next

Joshua has just taken over the lead in a new series called Dr Death that Jamie Dornan had just started filming when lockdown happened. Now it’s started again and Jamie can’t do it do it so Joshua has taken over the part

I bloody loved Pacey, and thought Dawson was always so emotionally manipulative.
He didn’t want Joey, but didn’t want anybody else to either.
I love the final episode when they’re all grown up living happily in their apartment together.

I love Pacey/Joshua Jackson. I never understood why Joey was hung up on Dawson for so long when Pacey was right there. Joshua Jackson was my massive teen crush, along with Milo Ventimiglia in Gilmore Girls. Both crushes still going strong!

Right, so I've started rewatching. Remember being very pro Joey, anti Jen initially but watching the first episode and Joey was horrible to Jen and Jen seems lovely if a little pretentious. Weird how perceptions change. Hasn't aged that badly as series go

I read recently that Katie Holmes and Joshua Jackson were a real life couple for a while when they were making DC, she describes him as her first love. Makes me feel sad given all the Tom Cruise madness that came after.

I'm re watching it on Netflix, and I am 100% team Pacey! Dawson was so self involved, and borderline abusive to Joey, its like she walks around on eggshells so he doesn't get upset and throw a tantrum! I never watched it all the way to the end first time round, so looking forward to seeing how it ends, fingers crossed J&P make it 😀
