AIBU to be worried about this?

I’m 12 weeks pregnant, had my dating scan this week and everything fine.

Yesterday I took my daughter to soft play and without thinking followed her through those horizontal rollers that you have to squeeze through (like in the photo attached in case my description isn’t very good!)

It squashed my tummy and shortly after I started getting some aches and pains that I’m still getting now. Not massively painful but I can’t stop worrying!

Am I being unreasonable/irrational here?

I think your probably fine, the baby has a lot of protection in there and I think you just have gone into over active imagination.

In the nicest possible way you are being a little paranoid. I totally understand though. At 12 weeks the foetus is tiny and still hidden behind your pelvis. I was in a car accident at 12 weeks and went to the hospital. I was basically told not to be ridiculous! You might have pulled some muscles as everything becomes stretchy when you're pregnant and it's easier to damage yourself.

You are being irrational Smile I’ve slightly pulled muscles from doing things like that though!

You probably pulled a muscle. Hoping you feel better soon.

At 12 weeks the foetus is the size of a plum and is still tucked nicely behind your pelvis. You’ll be fine.

Relax. It'll be a pulled muscle. The baby is well protected. I always think of it this way:
My high school teacher once filled a jar completely with water and put and egg in then put the lid on and challenged the class to shake the hell out of the jar to see if we could break the egg. It was impossible. That's how well a baby is protected.
