Nice villages in Oxfordshire?

Hello!
Looking for some advice, I’ve got a new job in oxford and we’re looking for nice villages in the surrounding areas to buy, hoping for the following:
A nice safe village
A few pubs with a good feel
Easy access to bath (possible south/west of Oxford) dh will be working occasionally in bath so this side of the city is preferable
Fairly low crime
Nice primary schools & friendly mum community.

Very aware this is all a big ask!!
Would be very greatful if someone in the area could recommend xxx

Did you get any good feedback? I’m in a similar boat. About to start a new job in Abingdon and have a young child so am after a small town or village south of Oxfordshire within a reasonable distance of Bath where my family are located.

One of the villages around Didcot will suit perfectly - mainline station in Didcot goes to Bath and A34 gives easy road access.

Villages big enough to have a pub and a good school include South or North Moreton, Chilton, Long Wittenham, Blewbury. All have lovely communities.
