My mums moving into retirement living but I'm
Just going to check the property first as she is known to make rash decisions. I'm leaving in an hour and it will take me an hour to get there DS is in tears as he hasn't seen her for months and she is all he talks about.

He attends nursery at 12 for three hours so I won't be back in time to take him to nursery so Oh was going to take him but he wants to see his grandma so badly.

I'm sure it's breaking rules but my heart breaks for him.

Would she worry about the risk as he is at nursery?

happylittlechick · 23/11/2020 07:47

If he's been mixing at nursery surely he presents a risk? It might be hard to stop him from hugging his grandma and cause more upset.

No issue with the day off, just covid makes it her decision as well I should think? Hope today goes well.

honkytonkheroe · 23/11/2020 07:50

Normally, I’d say take him but as others have said, it’s just the COVID risk.

Hercules12 · 23/11/2020 07:51

Is she living with other people in retirement living? I wouldn't. too risky.

Sirzy · 23/11/2020 07:54

Is she going to be isolating for others in the retirement complex when she moves in?

Can you do a video call with him so he can chat to her that way before going to nursery?

ZombieAttack · 23/11/2020 07:54

Would he be allowed in?

AaronPurr · 23/11/2020 07:57

I'm not sure he would actually be allowed in. I wouldn't take him. You're only going to look around the property, him seeing his gran will be a distraction.

HuntedForest · 23/11/2020 08:01

Sorry, but I would second the others. Would he even be allowed to go in with you to view the property?
