Always the one to make the effort

Im a bit pissed off so just need to vent a bit to get it off my chest.
Today is DD birthday and im sat here waiting for my parents to bring her present over. Parents are in my bubble as I'm a single adult household.

Every birthday I go over theirs with their presents and I'm always the one making the effort. They live 5 min walk away so there's no excuse. They make and effort to see their other grandkids early morning for their birthdays.

Im so annoyed they don't make that much of an effort for my DD, shes already asked when they are coming over.

Im tempted to ring them to find out if they are bothering. They did the same on my birthday too.

Surely they are making the effort to come over though aren't they? Is it that big of a deal if they aren't coming over early?

Did you not arrange a particular time between you?

They are expecting me to go over there, they always do. Ive already told them I'm not going over as I'm waiting for a delivery but it really seems its just me who makes the effort. I even rescheduled a trip away so I could see my mum on her birthday.
