My stock is a funny colour

I made chicken stock last night, I don't do this very regularly. I only had a red onion so chucked this in. The stock is a very dark colour, I guess this is because of the red onion? This is just aesthetic isn't it and will still taste fine in whatever I use it in? Sorry probably a stupid question.

Taste it and see.

It'll be absolutely fine, but I'd probably have a tiny taste before I put it in a risotto or whatever, lest you ruin the whole thing. I like a red onion in stock though, more flavour than white I think.
