To let the furniture go?

Sold furniture via marketplace last night, 20% deposit left and arranged to be picked up by removals company today. Buyer has messaged to say they have transferred the rest and screen shot shows balance and my account number and name. Its not showing in my account yet and removals due any minute. Would you assume its a genuine delay? Or could be a scam? Grateful for quick advice thanks.

It’s weird. It should appear immediately. Call your bank and do not give the furniture.

I would wait until the funds have cleared, usually clears within a couple of hours maximum by internet banking, I normally find it’s quicker though.
How much time has passed since they made the payment? Does the screenshot show the correct payment amount has been processed?

Don’t send furniture until it’s paid for.

Should say its not showing up on pending either

Don't let it go until you've received the money. They will probably kick off and pressure you to just give it to the removals men. Dont let it go until payment is in your account!
